Accommodation

Staying in a cortijo is a unique experience. Here you can see a collection of photographs of each of our exclusive rooms, explore the multiple spaces of the cortijo such as salons, a lounge bar, gardens, patios, a pool, where you can enjoy privacy, be in a group or in the company of everyone. In addition, food is the protagonist, being able to see how the indoor and outdoor kitchen is, the barbecue area, the tables prepared to eat in the indoor dining room, outdoor by the barbecue and gardens, and of course the large patio.

Summary of the Cortijo

Rooms

We have eight rooms to choose from, all of which come with their own private bathrooms. These include two XL king size suites, one quadruple room consisting of two connecting independent rooms, four double rooms (one of which comes with twin beds), and a large 125 square meter room specifically designed for younger guests, featuring double bunk beds and ample space.

All of our rooms are unique and one-of-a-kind, you can view them in our “rooms” section.

Dining and Kitchen

You will find an architectural block of over 70 square meters, featuring a kitchen, a sculptural high table (seating 8), and a spacious dining table (seating 16). We have ensured that everything is easily accessible for cooking, serving, and setting up and clearing the tables. The fridge and pantry are within reach, kitchen equipment is distributed in drawers, tableware and glassware is stored in designated furniture, making it easy to use and store.

You can find details of all the appliances and accessories in our digital guide.

Living Room and Fireplace

Our most beloved room by guests, featuring a striking large fireplace at the back, which used to be an old kitchen for staff. You can sit comfortably on sofas and armchairs around the fire. A series of modular sofas arranged in the center of the room create another space within the living room, as well as a reading corner.

Sitting Areas

This is where you will find the only TV in the villa, accompanied by comfortable sofas, and a second line of high chairs (for watching sports events on TV) and a dining table (seating 8). A Bluetooth sound system allows you to create a pleasant musical background in the area or amplify the TV audio.

Patio

The large central patio is the heart of the villa. It is a unique space to enjoy breakfast, snacks, and sunsets… In the form of cobblestones, with floors made of baked clay creating hexagonal shapes, accompanied by fountains lined with handmade ceramics, it is a very pleasant space to enjoy. Accessible from the dining room, living room with fireplace, and gardens, it gives access to the private lounge bar and large multi-purpose rooms.

Lounge Bar

Our private lounge bar is a cozy and exclusive corner, perfect for enjoying with friends and colleagues. Located away from the rooms and other lounges to minimize disruptions, you can stock the bar with your favorite beers, wines, and spirits. The space is prepared for adult entertainment, whether you want to create a lively pub atmosphere or a relaxed lounge atmosphere.

Barbecue Area

To enjoy outdoor meals with beautiful views of the Extremadura countryside, we have prepared an outdoor kitchen with a double charcoal barbecue and a beautiful wood-fired oven, as well as a refrigerator and sink. We also have a large and sculptural table where you can sit up to 20 people.

Chillout Terrace with Pool

We love to create “chill out” environments around the cortijo’s pool, with pool, hammocks, chairs, sofas, and good music to set the mood until sunset. Enjoy some appetizers, accompanied by cold beers or cocktails.

Meeting Room

We have dedicated one of our spaces to create a unique meeting room. A large table around which we can accommodate up to 16 people, and provide additional items as needed (projectors, whiteboards, printers, etc.).

Multi-purpose Rooms

Independent from the rest of the cortijo, we have various rooms and spaces that we like to call multi-purpose. We can convert them into game rooms, meditation and relaxation areas, yoga areas, celebration rooms, exhibition areas, and workshop spaces. More than 600 sq meters available to prepare them according to your needs.

Architecture

The original Cortijo Los Acepados dates back to 1881. Its adaptation as a Boutique Cortijo was based on taking nature as a reference and applying basic concepts of bioclimatic architecture: its decorative elements and finishes reflect this, both inside and in the gardens.

Terra cotta floors and hydraulic slabs remind us of the building’s origin, which are complemented by colorful hand-crafted mosaics in fountains and wet areas of the house. Natural light abounds in all rooms, from which the dehesa can be enjoyed.

A unique collection of wooden doors match the hydraulic tile mosaics that adorn the bedrooms and hallways. An old servants’ kitchen is now a large fireplace, and the multi-purpose rooms use the large volumes of the former storage rooms, turning them into versatile spaces.

The alcoves have been converted into beautiful benches that help enjoy the gardens, inviting us to relax and enjoy nature

Our history

The Acepados is a family farm, agriculturally and livestock exploited by the Flores family. Currently, it has an extension of 220 hectares, highlighting 160 hectares of organic mountain olive grove composed of more than 30,000 olive trees and young cork oak areas still without corking the bark, which provides a high environmental value.

Historically, the farm was used for wine production, the verb “acepar” means “to put down roots”, so the family has decided to replant a small vineyard in honor of the family history. In the last 4 years, the farm has undergone an important regeneration process of its tree grove, with continuous pruning and ecological treatments of the olive trees. It is expected that the farm will be in full production by 2027, at which time it is expected to be able to commercially produce its own extra virgin olive oil and in 2025 a limited production of 750 annual bottles of the petit verdot variety.

The pastures are used by a flock of sheep, which helps in the maintenance of the land and improvement of the soil. The olive grove has medium slopes above 15%, which makes its care and olive harvesting costly. The farm belongs to a private hunting reserve, it is easy to come across deer and more
